Hunting

Encyclopedia

Everything about monsters, hunting areas, bosses and items in one window, with the way to get there drawn on your minimap.

Updated 2026-10-03 · 6 questions answered

The Encyclopedia is the book of everything in the world: every monster, where it lives, how to get there, every boss and every item. It opens from the Encyclopedia button on the side bar (the old Bestiary button). Nothing is hidden behind kills: the information is open from day one. The only secret is where bosses are.

Opening a page directly

Right-click a monster on the screen or an item (in your backpack, on your character or on the floor) and choose Open in Encyclopedia. It opens straight on that page. The option only appears for monsters and items that are in the Encyclopedia.

Monsters

Search by name or filter by class. Each monster shows hitpoints, experience, speed, armor, the damage it takes from each element, your Bestiary progress and its whole loot with the real chances.

  • Track kills puts the monster on your Bestiary tracker.
  • Click a loot item to set it in your Loot Manager: pick it up or skip it.
  • Find on map opens the Hunt Finder on that monster.

Hunt Finder

The map shows only the monster you chose, grouped into hunting areas. The list on the left starts with the areas that have the most monsters.

  • The map starts on the ground floor. Each marker says on which floors the area is.
  • Click an area to zoom in and see every spawn, floor by floor.
  • How to get there draws the way, step by step: from where you are when possible, otherwise from the nearest temple. It includes stairs, ladders, holes, teleports and boats (it tells you which captain to talk to and what to say).
  • Show on my minimap draws the same trail on your game minimap. It disappears when you arrive.
  • Right-click the map to put a mark on your own minimap.

Good to knowThe route is a drawing, not a walker. The character never walks by itself: automated hunting is against the rules.

Some areas have no route: they need a quest, a key, a lever or a special access the map cannot know about.

Bosses

Every boss with its type (world, city or regular boss), hitpoints, experience, resistances and loot. The location is never shown. Finding them is part of the game.

Items

Search by name and filter by category, how the item is obtained (monster loot, boss loot, quest reward, sold or bought by NPCs) and vocation.

The list has every item that monsters drop or quests give. Things you only buy from NPCs (tools, runes, supplies) are not listed.

  • Dropped by: every monster and boss that drops it, with the chance. Quest rewards also appear here. Click a monster to open it.
  • Sell to and Buy from: every NPC that buys or sells the item, with the city and the price, best price first. Click an NPC to see it on the map with the way to get there.
  • Used in: NPC trades, crafts and addons that ask for the item. Each NPC name is its own link to that NPC on the map. Click an addon row to open its guide.
  • After jumping to an NPC on the map, Back to item takes you back to the item you were looking at.

Addons

A guide to every outfit and addon that NPCs give: the outfit drawn with the addon, which NPC to talk to and everything to bring. Filter by outfits, first addons or second addons. When more than one NPC gives the same addon, each one is listed and each name opens that NPC on the map.

Charms

Your charm points, the charms you have unlocked and the ones you can still buy, in the same window. How charms work: Bestiary and Charms.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Encyclopedia make the client heavy?

No. The data is only loaded the first time you open the window, and the map markers only exist while it is open.

Why does an area have no "How to get there"?

The route only uses ways anyone can take: walking, stairs, holes, teleports and NPC travel. Areas behind a quest, a key or a lever have no route.

Where are the bosses?

That stays secret. The Encyclopedia shows what they are and what they drop, never where they are.

Are the NPC prices real?

Yes. They come from the NPCs of this server. If an NPC changes a price, the Encyclopedia changes with the next client update.

Why can't I find an item?

The item list only has things that monsters drop or quests give. An item that only NPCs sell (and no monster drops) is not listed. Ask the NPC for its trade list in the game.

Which NPC gives an addon?

Open the Addons tab and search for the outfit. You can also open any addon item and click its row under Used in.
