Prey
Choose a creature and get a bonus against it: more damage, less damage taken, more experience or more loot.
Prey lets you pick a creature and receive a bonus whenever you fight it. Open it with the Prey button on the side panel. A small Prey Tracker shows your active preys while you hunt.
Slots

Bonuses
Each prey has a bonus type and a grade from 1 to 10 (shown as stars):

Improved Loot never adds gold coins, and it does not work when you have no stamina.
Duration
A prey lasts 2 hours, and the timer only runs while you are in combat. Standing in town doesn't spend it.
Changing your prey

The bonus reroll always raises the grade (to a random grade between your current one +1 and 10), may change the bonus type, and restarts the 2-hour timer. At grade 10 it only changes the type. A new creature starts from zero again.
Wildcards
You can hold up to 50 wildcards. Buy them in the Store:

The creatures in your list come from the Bestiary, with a suggested level for each. Bosses and raid creatures cannot be prey.
Frequently asked questions
Does my prey run out while I stand in town?
No. The timer only runs while you are in combat.
Can a bonus reroll lower my grade?
No. It always goes up, until grade 10.
Does Improved Loot give more gold?
No. It improves item chances, never coins.
Which bonus is the best?
It depends on your goal: Bonus XP for leveling, Improved Loot for profit, Damage Boost to kill faster and Damage Reduction for dangerous creatures.
Can I choose a boss as prey?
No. Bosses and raid creatures are not available.
