Party and Shared Experience
How parties share experience, the vocation bonus, your party on the minimap and the party view of the Hunt Analyzer.
Hunting with friends is faster and safer. With shared experience on, the party splits the experience and gets a bonus.
How it works
- Invite players to your party (right-click a player → Invite to Party).
- Shared experience turns on by itself as soon as the first player joins.
- The experience is shared only while every member meets the rules:
- level at least 2/3 of the highest level in the party (with a level 150 in the party, the minimum is 100);
- at most 30 squares from the leader, on the same floor or one floor apart;
- fighting: attacked or healed someone of the party in the last minute.
The shield over each character shows the situation:
| Shield | Meaning |
|---|---|
| With the experience symbol | Sharing experience |
| Without the symbol, still | Shared experience is on, but someone is outside the rules |
| Blinking | This member is outside the rules (level, distance or idle) |
The leader can turn it off and on outside a fight: right-click yourself → Disable/Enable Shared Experience, or type !share off / !share on (just !share switches it).
The bonus
The bonus depends on how many different vocations the party has:
| Party | Bonus |
|---|---|
| All the same vocation | +10% |
| 2 different vocations | +15% |
| 3 different vocations | +30% |
| 4 different vocations | +40% |
Knight and Elite Knight count as the same vocation (the same for the other promotions). The total experience, with the bonus, is divided equally among the members.
Your party on the minimap
While in a party you see your companions on the minimap (and the full map): a colored pin for each one, up to 4 companions (red, blue, green and yellow, in party order). Hover over a pin to see the name. If the companion is on another floor, the pin fades and shows an arrow ▲ (above) or ▼ (below). Positions update every second.
Party hunt in the Hunt Analyzer
The Hunt Analyzer has a Party section. It shows the loot, supplies, damage and healing of each member, the balance of the whole party and how much each member should pay or receive so that everybody ends with the same profit.
