Rules and Punishments
What is allowed, what is forbidden and how punishments work, in plain words.
Puria is a long-term server. The rules exist for one reason: what you earn, you earned yourself. This article explains them in plain words. The official text is on the Server Rules page, and if the two ever differ, the official page wins.
The most important rule: no hunting bots
Hunting is the heart of the game, so a person has to do it.
- Forbidden: anything that hunts for you. That means walking by itself (cavebot), choosing and attacking monsters, looting by a bot program, following another character automatically, and any external bot, script or macro.
- Punishment: permanent ban on the first offence. No warning, no second chance.
- Our detection only flags suspicious hunting. A person reviews every case before anyone is banned.
Good to knowThe game's own features are not bots. The Auxiliador (the Helper), the built-in autoloot of the Loot Manager and the automatic gold exchange are official and allowed.
What you are allowed to do

Clients and accounts
- Play only with the official client, installed and updated by the launcher. Modified clients and tools that read or change the game are forbidden.
- Two clients per computer, at most. A third client at the same time is not allowed.
- Only one character may hunt at a time. The second one can train, stand in the depot, trade or chat. Two characters hunting together is treated as a bot.
- You are responsible for your account, including when someone else plays with your password.
Bugs and cheating
- Using a bug to gain anything (duplicating items, reaching forbidden places, killing without risk) is forbidden.
- Report every bug you find. Knowing about a serious bug and keeping quiet counts as abusing it. Press Ctrl+Alt+R in the game: see Reporting bugs and players.
- Trying to get into other accounts, fake pages and stolen passwords are forbidden.
- Attacking the server, the website or players outside the game (DDoS, threats, doxxing) means a permanent ban.
Names and behaviour
- Names cannot be insulting, racist, sexual, political or hateful, cannot imitate staff or other players, and cannot be random letters.
- Respect other players. Harassment, threats, hate speech and discrimination are forbidden in every chat.
- No spam and no advertising of other servers.
Trading and real money
Trading items, gold and characters is free, including for real money. It is always at your own risk: staff does not mediate, guarantee or refund deals.
CarefulWhen you receive a character, change the e-mail, the password and the recovery key at once. Staff will not return anything lost in a scam between players.
Staff
- Staff never asks for your password or recovery key. Anyone who does is lying.
- Pretending to be staff, false reports and threatening staff are forbidden.
How punishments work
Every rule follows the same public ladder. Each new offence goes one step up:

Punishments apply to the whole account, and anything gained unfairly may be removed. In very serious cases staff may skip steps.
Frequently asked questions
Can I leave my character training while I sleep?
Yes. AFK training is allowed for as long as you want. The Auxiliador (the Helper) can keep you logged in.
Is the autoloot of the Loot Manager allowed?
Yes. It is part of the game and works the same for everyone. What is forbidden is an external program or bot that loots, walks or attacks for you.
My friend and I play from the same house. Is that a problem?
No. The limit is two clients per computer, not per house or internet connection. Each person plays their own characters.
Can I hunt with two characters if I play both by hand?
No. Only one character may hunt at a time. Two characters hunting together is treated as automation, even if you say you are playing both.
Can I sell my character or items for real money?
Yes, at your own risk. Staff will not step in if the other side does not pay or does not deliver.
I was banned for botting but I did not use a bot. What can I do?
Every ban for automation is reviewed by a person before it is applied. If you still believe it is a mistake, contact the support e-mail on the website with your account number and an explanation.
Someone in game says they are a Gamemaster and asks for my password.
It is a scam. Staff never asks for passwords or recovery keys. Right-click the player and choose Report.
I found a bug. Do I get anything for reporting it?
Reporting is mandatory, and it protects you: using a bug, or knowing about a serious one and staying quiet, is punished. Use the Report window in the game (Ctrl+Alt+R). See Reporting bugs and players.
