Rates

Updated 2026-10-11 · 6 questions answered

Puria uses stages: progress is faster at the start and slows down as you grow, so that every level still means something months from now. Type !serverinfo in game to see the rates that apply to you right now.

Experience

Level Experience rate
1 to 8 5x
9 to 20 4x
21 to 40 3x
41 to 50 2x
51 to 60 1.5x
61 and above 1x

On top of that:

Skills

Skill level (sword, axe, club, distance, fist, shielding, fishing) Rate
1 to 30 8x
31 to 50 6x
51 to 70 4x
71 and above 2x

Magic level

Magic level Rate
0 to 40 4x
41 and above 2x

Good to knowWooden weapons: the wooden sword, axe and club and the throwing pebble (attack 5, given by the Oracle to knights and paladins) train their skill 10% faster everywhere outside the training rooms. The throwing pebble is never used up. Lost them? Quentin, in the Thais temple, gives them back (say wooden).

Good to knowInside the training rooms, skill and magic level advance at 80% of the normal rate. You are warned when you enter. See Training Rooms. Exercise Weapons train much faster.

Loot

The loot is custom. Each item's chance to drop is a bit lower than original Tibia, gold drops in smaller amounts, and monsters that used to give too much (Minotaurs, Orcs, Dwarves and others) were rebalanced one by one. The goal is an economy where items keep their value.

Ways to get more loot:

Party bonus

With shared experience on, a party gains extra experience based on how many different vocations it has:

Party Bonus
All the same vocation +10%
2 different vocations +15%
3 different vocations +30%
4 different vocations +40%

Knight and Elite Knight count as the same vocation. Details in Party and Shared Experience.

Stamina

Every character has up to 42 hours of stamina. Hunting spends it; resting offline gives it back.

Stamina Effect
40 to 42 hours (premium) +50% experience (the "happy hour")
14 to 40 hours Normal
Below 14 hours Half experience, and no extra loot from possessed monsters
0 No experience

Stamina comes back in three ways:

Where Premium Free account
Offline 1 minute every 2 minutes 1 minute every 3 minutes
Resting area (protection zone or your house, no battle sign) 1 minute every 90 seconds Half the speed
Training room, while hitting the dummy 1 minute every 90 seconds Half the speed

The last two hours (40 to 42) recover more slowly. A Daily Reward and Resting Areas streak of 4 days or more makes resting areas 50% faster.

Regeneration

With a full stomach, each vocation regenerates:

Vocation Health Mana
Elite Knight 2 every 2 s 4 every 4 s
Knight 2 every 3 s 4 every 6 s
Royal Paladin 2 every 3 s 4 every 3 s
Paladin 2 every 4 s 4 every 4 s
Master Sorcerer 2 every 4 s 4 every 2 s
Sorcerer 2 every 6 s 4 every 3 s
Elder Druid 2 every 4 s 4 every 2 s
Druid 2 every 6 s 4 every 3 s

Promoted vocations regenerate faster. Soul points regenerate only while you are gaining experience.

Good to knowSoft boots last 8 hours of use. The time only runs while you wear them; in your backpack they pause. When the time ends they become worn soft boots: Aldo, in Venore, repairs them for 50,000 gold (say repair soft boots).

Frequently asked questions

How do I see my current rates?

Type !serverinfo in game. It shows your experience rate (with the premium bonus), your skill and magic stages and the training room rate.

Why does my experience rate keep going down?

Because of the stages. From level 61 the rate is 1x, the base of the game.

Do skill stages use my level or my skill?

Your skill level. A level 100 knight with sword 25 still trains sword at 8x.

Does the XP Boost stack with premium and party?

Yes. All bonuses apply together.

Is the loot rate 1x?

The loot is custom: close to the original, with some monsters rebalanced so that items keep their value.

What is the best way to recover stamina?

Rest in a protection zone or in your house, train in a training room, or log out. Premium recovers faster. See Daily Reward and Resting Areas for the resting area bonuses.
