Getting Started

Is Puria Online free to play?

Yes. You can play forever without paying. Free accounts can use every spell, every boat, every NPC and every area of the map. Premium adds comfort, not access. See Premium Account.

More in: Getting Started →
I forgot my account number. What do I do?

Use the account recovery on the website with the e-mail you registered. Your account is a number, not your character's name.

More in: Getting Started →
Can I play without the launcher?

No. The launcher keeps your client updated and the server only accepts the current client version.

More in: Getting Started →
How many characters can I have?

You can create several characters on the same account. Remember the rule about clients: you may have two clients open per computer, but only one of them may be hunting. See Rules and Punishments.

More in: Getting Started →
Which vocation should I choose?

All four are viable. Knights are the toughest, Paladins fight from distance with great balance, Sorcerers deal the most magic damage and Druids are the best healers. You choose with the Oracle at level 8, so you have time to decide. See Vocations and Promotion.

More in: Getting Started →
The launcher says my client is outdated or it fails to update.

Close the game, open the launcher again and let it finish. If it keeps failing, check that your antivirus is not blocking the launcher's folder.

More in: Getting Started →
Can I leave my character training while I sleep?

Yes. AFK training is allowed for as long as you want. The Auxiliador (the Helper) can keep you logged in.

More in: Rules and Punishments →
Is the autoloot of the Loot Manager allowed?

Yes. It is part of the game and works the same for everyone. What is forbidden is an external program or bot that loots, walks or attacks for you.

More in: Rules and Punishments →
My friend and I play from the same house. Is that a problem?

No. The limit is two clients per computer, not per house or internet connection. Each person plays their own characters.

More in: Rules and Punishments →
Can I hunt with two characters if I play both by hand?

No. Only one character may hunt at a time. Two characters hunting together is treated as automation, even if you say you are playing both.

More in: Rules and Punishments →
Can I sell my character or items for real money?

Yes, at your own risk. Staff will not step in if the other side does not pay or does not deliver.

More in: Rules and Punishments →
I was banned for botting but I did not use a bot. What can I do?

Every ban for automation is reviewed by a person before it is applied. If you still believe it is a mistake, contact the support e-mail on the website with your account number and an explanation.

More in: Rules and Punishments →
Someone in game says they are a Gamemaster and asks for my password.

It is a scam. Staff never asks for passwords or recovery keys. Right-click the player and choose Report.

More in: Rules and Punishments →
I found a bug. Do I get anything for reporting it?

Reporting is mandatory, and it protects you: using a bug, or knowing about a serious one and staying quiet, is punished. Use the Report window in the game (Ctrl+Alt+R). See Reporting bugs and players.

More in: Rules and Punishments →
Is there a reward for reporting bugs?

Reporting is part of playing fair, and it protects you: using a bug, or knowing about a serious one and staying quiet, is punished like bug abuse.

More in: Reporting bugs and players →
Can I be punished for a report?

Only for a false report made on purpose, or for spamming reports. Honest reports are always welcome, even when they turn out not to be a problem.

More in: Reporting bugs and players →
The player I reported is still playing. Did it work?

Yes. Every report is read, but cases are checked carefully before any punishment, and punishments are not announced.

More in: Reporting bugs and players →
Can I report when I am not in the game?

Yes: open a ticket in the support channel on our Discord.

More in: Reporting bugs and players →
Can the Auxiliador hunt for me?

No. It cannot walk, choose targets, attack monsters or loot. Hunting is always done by you.

More in: Auxiliador (the Helper) →
Can I use another bot or program just for healing?

No. The Auxiliador is the only automation allowed. Any external program that sends actions to the game is forbidden.

More in: Auxiliador (the Helper) →
Why can't I see the Friend Healer?

It only appears for Druids.

More in: Auxiliador (the Helper) →
Will the anti kick keep me online all night?

Yes. It turns your character every 9 minutes, and the server only logs out idle players after 15 minutes.

More in: Auxiliador (the Helper) →
Who exchanges my gold, the Auxiliador or the server?

The server. The switch in the Auxiliador only tells the server whether you want it. The exchange is free and you can turn it off at any time.

More in: Auxiliador (the Helper) →
My healing does not use potions.

Check that the potions are in an open backpack and that the rule's percentage is above your current health or mana.

More in: Auxiliador (the Helper) →
Does training with the Auxiliador count against me in the anti-bot system?

No. Standing still to train, casting a training spell and anti kick are never counted as hunting.

More in: Auxiliador (the Helper) →
I died and lost my wooden weapons. How do I get them back?

Talk to Quentin in the Thais temple and say wooden. Knights choose which one they want (sword, axe or club); paladins get the throwing pebble. One weapon per request, only if you are not already carrying it. The first one is free; after that each one costs 1,000 gold (from your backpack or your bank). If it does not fit, it goes to your Store Inbox.

More in: Rookgaard, Aldric's Missions and the Journal →
Can I skip one of Aldric's missions?

No. They unlock in order, and each one has a minimum level.

More in: Rookgaard, Aldric's Missions and the Journal →
Do I need the last hit on the Rat King or the Grave Robber?

No. Everyone who damaged the boss while doing the mission gets the credit.

More in: Rookgaard, Aldric's Missions and the Journal →
The boss is dead. How long until it comes back?

Ten minutes.

More in: Rookgaard, Aldric's Missions and the Journal →
My phoenix hour ran out before I found all four winds.

Talk to Aldric again and he lends you the phoenix for another hour. The winds you already reached are kept.

More in: Rookgaard, Aldric's Missions and the Journal →
I am above level 8 in Rookgaard. Can I still leave?

Yes, at any level. The Oracle adjusts your health, mana and capacity to your new vocation, as if you had chosen it at level 8.

More in: Rookgaard, Aldric's Missions and the Journal →
Do I lose health or mana by staying longer in Rookgaard?

No. When you choose your vocation, your health, mana and capacity are recalculated for your level, so you end up exactly like a character who left at level 8.

More in: Rookgaard, Aldric's Missions and the Journal →
Do I have to do the missions?

No, but they give equipment, gold, experience and achievements, and teach you the basics. They are worth it.

More in: Rookgaard, Aldric's Missions and the Journal →
Where is my Journal?

Press Ctrl+J. If you lost the book, ask Aldric for a new journal.

More in: Rookgaard, Aldric's Missions and the Journal →
What happens to my Explorer phoenix if I get a vocation?

You lose it, and your title becomes "former Rookgaard Explorer".

More in: Rookgaard, Aldric's Missions and the Journal →
How do I see my current rates?

Type !serverinfo in game. It shows your experience rate (with the premium bonus), your skill and magic stages and the training room rate.

More in: Rates →
Why does my experience rate keep going down?

Because of the stages. From level 61 the rate is 1x, the base of the game.

More in: Rates →
Do skill stages use my level or my skill?

Your skill level. A level 100 knight with sword 25 still trains sword at 8x.

More in: Rates →
Does the XP Boost stack with premium and party?

Yes. All bonuses apply together.

More in: Rates →
Is the loot rate 1x?

The loot is custom: close to the original, with some monsters rebalanced so that items keep their value.

More in: Rates →
What is the best way to recover stamina?

Rest in a protection zone or in your house, train in a training room, or log out. Premium recovers faster. See Daily Reward and Resting Areas for the resting area bonuses.

More in: Rates →
Do I need to buy blessings before level 30?

No. You have all five for free until level 30.

More in: Death and Blessings →
Are my items really 100% safe with five blessings?

Yes. With all five blessings you keep every item, equipped or in the backpack. The only exception is a red skull.

More in: Death and Blessings →
How much do blessings cost at my level?

10,000 gold up to level 30, plus 1,000 gold for each level above 30. For example, level 60 pays 40,000 gold. In the Store they cost 10 Puria Points at any level.

More in: Death and Blessings →
I died. Do I lose my blessings?

Yes. Blessings are used up when you die, so buy them again before your next dangerous hunt. Free blessings (up to level 30) come back on their own at your next login.

More in: Death and Blessings →
Do blessings remove the experience loss completely?

No. They reduce it by about one third. Items are fully protected; experience and skills are reduced, not saved.

More in: Death and Blessings →
What does the golden border on my inventory mean?

You have all five blessings.

More in: Death and Blessings →
Why didn't my free blessings protect me?

You probably had a skull. Free blessings do not protect players with a skull.

More in: Death and Blessings →
Do I need blessings and an Amulet of Loss?

With five blessings your items are already 100% safe, so the amulet adds nothing. The amulet is useful when you have no blessings, but it does not reduce the experience loss.

More in: Death and Blessings →
Can I play without premium?

Yes. Every spell, area, boat and NPC is available to free accounts.

More in: Premium Account →
I lost premium. Do I need to pay for my promotion again?

No. The promotion comes back automatically when your premium returns.

More in: Premium Account →
Do I lose my house when premium ends?

Yes. The items go to your depot with a letter, so nothing is lost except the house itself.

More in: Premium Account →
Can I give premium to a friend?

Yes. Use the gift option in the Store.

More in: Premium Account →
What happens to the premium days I already have when I buy more?

They are added together. Nothing is lost.

More in: Premium Account →

Character & Combat

Which vocation is the best?

None is the best at everything. Knights are the safest and cheapest, Paladins are the most balanced, Sorcerers deal the most magic damage and Druids heal the best.

More in: Vocations and Promotion →
Can I change my vocation later?

No. The Oracle's choice is permanent.

More in: Vocations and Promotion →
Where do I get promoted?

From King Tibianus in Thais castle or Queen Eloise in Carlin castle (Emperor Kruzak in Kazordoon promotes too). Say "hi" and "promotion".

More in: Vocations and Promotion →

20,000 gold. You need level 20 and a premium account.

More in: Vocations and Promotion →

Level 20, a premium account and 20,000 gold. Talk to King Tibianus (Thais) or Queen Eloise (Carlin).

More in: Vocations and Promotion →
Do I keep my promotion if premium ends?

It is suspended while you are free, and comes back by itself when premium returns.

More in: Vocations and Promotion →
Why does my paladin's Sudden Death hit so little?

In paladin hands the Sudden Death rune deals 30% of its normal damage. This is intentional, to keep the vocations balanced.

More in: Vocations and Promotion →
Does training on dummies give proficiency?

No. Proficiency comes only from monster kills (1% of the experience you gain).

More in: Weapon Proficiency →
If I switch weapons, do I lose progress?

No. Each weapon type keeps its own experience and perk choices.

More in: Weapon Proficiency →
Can I change the perks I chose?

Yes. Use Reset in the proficiency window. Your experience is kept and you can choose again.

More in: Weapon Proficiency →
Why does my weapon have only 3 perk levels?

The number of levels depends on the weapon's attack. Stronger weapons have up to 7.

More in: Weapon Proficiency →
Do two copies of the same weapon share progress?

Yes. Progress belongs to the weapon type, not to one item.

More in: Weapon Proficiency →
Do shields and rings have proficiency?

No. Only weapons have a proficiency tree.

More in: Weapon Proficiency →
Does premium give critical hits?

Yes. Premium accounts have a 5% chance of a critical hit (+15% damage) on everything, with no perk needed. Perks and charms add more.

More in: Weapon Proficiency →

At level 50. Then 1 point per level, up to 400 points at level 449.

Can I complete the whole wheel?

No. The wheel holds 800 points and the maximum is 400: at most two complete domains.

Planned points, yes, for free. Applied points only come back with a reset.

More in: Runic Wheel →

More in: Runic Wheel →
How long does a gem last?

30 days from the moment you socket it, playing or not. The Runecarver recharges it for 300,000 gold (+30 days, up to 60 ahead).

More in: Runic Wheel →
Why does my gem not work?

The domain must be complete (200 points) and the gem must have power left.

More in: Runic Wheel →
How many gems can I use?

Two at the same time. Removing one costs 50,000 gold and returns it to your backpack.

More in: Runic Wheel →
Do I lose points or gems when I die?

No.

More in: Runic Wheel →
What happened to the points I spent before 2 October?

The wheel was redesigned and all points were given back; your next reset is free.

Where can I buy strong or great health potions?

They don't exist on Puria. There are only small health, health and mana potions.

More in: Potions and Runes →
Do potions give back an empty flask?

No. Potions stack and leave nothing behind.

More in: Potions and Runes →
Why couldn't I remove a paralyze?

You were walking during the lock right after being paralyzed. Stand still for a moment, or wait up to 1 second.

More in: Potions and Runes →
Can I use an Ultimate Healing Rune on myself?

Yes, on yourself or on another player. It also removes paralyze.

More in: Potions and Runes →
Why does my paladin's Sudden Death hit weaker?

Paladins deal 30% of the normal Sudden Death damage, on purpose.

Can the Auxiliador use potions for me?

More in: Encyclopedia →
Why does an area have no "How to get there"?

The route only uses ways anyone can take: walking, stairs, holes, teleports and NPC travel. Areas behind a quest, a key or a lever have no route.

More in: Encyclopedia →
Where are the bosses?

That stays secret. The Encyclopedia shows what they are and what they drop, never where they are.

Yes. They come from the NPCs of this server. If an NPC changes a price, the Encyclopedia changes with the next client update.

More in: Encyclopedia →
